Launching Sharon Shields Consulting

Following two decades in life sciences executive research, earlier this year I found myself on garden leave — and for the first time in a long time, I had the space to think clearly about what I wanted my work life to look like.

Somewhere between heatwaves and pottering around in my actual garden, the answer arrived: I wanted to build something of my own.

So in June I started my own Consultancy, I’m officially launching Sharon Shields Consulting — a specialist consultancy focused on executive research, market mapping and talent intelligence for life sciences organisations across the UK, Europe and the US. I also partner with executive search consultancies who need deep, reliable research support for complex senior mandates.

This is the work where people are at the core.

Where depth and accuracy matter.

Where founders, boards, investors — and search partners — need clarity, not noise.

Building this from scratch has been energising, grounding and occasionally humbling, but it finally feels fully aligned with what I’m good at — and what the sector genuinely needs after two tough years.
